1. REGISTRATION

  • How to register?

    • You can register via our online registration portal by clicking here.

  • Modes of payment

    • You can make payment via VISA/MasterCard through the online payment portal which you will be directed to after you’ve completed your registration.

  • Can I make changes to my personal particulars after registration?

    • Yes. You may do so by sending an email to admin@runnus.nussportsclub.org but participants are advised to check their personal particulars thoroughly during registration.

  • Can I transfer my race registration if I wish to withdraw from the race?

    • No. Race entries are strictly non-transferable.

    • Personal information such as medical condition are tagged to each unique participant and competing on behalf of the registered participant is not permitted.

    • The Race Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the race entry and/or refuse participant’s entry into the start pen for race entries that have been transferred.

  • Are registration price inclusive of GST?

    • Yes.

  • Do I need to fill up any indemnity declaration?

    • Yes, participants below the age of 18 are required to seek parental/guardian consent before signing up for the race.

    • They would be required to submit the signed Indemnity form during the Race Entry Pack Collection, failing which the Race Organiser reserves the right to refuse the entry of the participant.

    • You can download the Indemnity form by clicking on the pdf file below by clicking on the pdf icon.

  • Can I get refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

    • No. Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.

  • Can I change my race categories after submitting my registration?

    • No.

2. RUNNING SINGLET & FINISHER’S T-SHIRT

  • What are the size and measurements for the race singlet and shirts?

  • All dimensions are in centimetres (cm)

  • Can I change the size of my race singlet after completing my registration?

    • Yes. You may do so by sending an email to admin@runnus.nussportsclub.org but participants are advised to check their personal particulars thoroughly during registration.

    • Do take note that singlet size selection is based on a first come first served basis.

  • Will I be allowed to change the size of my race singlet during the Race Entry Pack Collection?

    • No exchanges are allowed.

  • What is the difference between running apparels and finisher T-shirt?

    • Running apparels are entitled to all participants, which consist of only the running singlet.

    • Finisher T-shirt are only given to participants of the 15km category.

  • Will I get a Race Certificate after the race?

    • No, but the Organiser will provide your race timing via your subscribed email after the race.

3. RACE PACK COLLECTION

  • What do I need to produce to collect my Race Pack?

    • A copy of your NRIC/Passport (Both soft and hardcopies are accepted)

    • A copy of your Confirmation Slip (Both soft and hardcopies are accepted)

    • Signed Indemnity Form (For participants below the age of 18)

    • The Race Organiser reserves the right to refuse participants without the above documents from collecting their race packs

  • What if I am unable to collect my race pack?

  • You may authorize a representative to collect it on your behalf. Please download and complete the Letter of Authorisation (which will be sent to your email nearer to the RPC dates).

  • Your representative must produce the following during collection:

  • A copy of their NRIC/Passport (Both soft and hardcopies are accepted)

  • A copy of your NRIC/Passport (Both soft and hardcopies are accepted)

  • A copy of your Confirmation Slip (Both soft and hardcopies are accepted)

  • Your Signed Indemnity Form (For participants below the age of 18)

  • Letter of Authorisation

  • Where and when can I collect my race pack?

  • Alumni: 19 August 2017(Saturday), 12-7pm, Venue: UTOWN SRC Level 2 (2 College Avenue West, 01 Stephen Riady Centre, 138607)

  • NUS/Public: 24-25 August (Thursday to Friday), 12-8pm, Venue: NUSSC Club Room, MPSH

  • NUS/Public: 26 August, 10-5pm, Venue: NUSSC Clubroom, MPSH

4. RACE DAY

  • When will RUNNUS 2017 be held?

    • 3rd September 2017 

  • What time does the event start

    • 0700

  • What is the race route?

    • To be out soon!

  • Will there be baggage deposit service available?

    • Baggage deposit will be available to all runners. In order to avoid any delay, runners are strongly encouraged to arrive early and deposit their personal belongings as queue is expected.

    • While maximum care and security will be enforced, the Race Organiser will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items. Participants who choose to use this service may do so at their own risk.

  • How can I get to the race venue?

  • From Buona Vista MRT Station - Bus 196

  • Walk to the bus stop opposite Buona Vista MRT Station located near Exit D, Bus Stop No. 11369. Board Bus 196 (towards Clementi Interchange). Alight 6 stops later at Bus Stop No. 19059. Walk approximately 5 to 8 minutes to UTown.

  • From Clementi MRT Station - Bus 183 

  • Walk to Clementi Bus Stop, Bus Stop No. 17179, from Clementi MRT Station (Exit B). Board Bus 183 (towards Jurong East Temp Interchange). Alight 3 stops later at Bus Stop No. 17099. Walk approximately 8 to 10 minutes to UTown.

  • From Clementi Bus Interchange - Bus 96

  • Board Bus 96 (towards Clementi Interchange). Alight 3 stops later at Bus Stop No. 17099. Walk approximately 8 to 10 minutes to UTown.

  • From Kent Ridge MRT Station - NUS Internal Bus Shuttle

  • Walk to Kent Ridge Bus Stop, Bus Stop No. 18331, from Kent Ridge MRT Station (Exit A). Board NUS Internal Bus Shuttle D2. Alight 5 stops later at UTown.

    • B.   NUS Internal Bus Shuttle

  • Services D1 and D2

  • Direct Services UT-CLB and UT-FoS (w.e.f. 12 August 2013, during specific timings)

  • Is it compulsory to wear the race bib?

    • Yes. Participants without their assigned race bib will be refused entry into the starting pen.

  • What is the flag-off time for each category?

    • 15km: 7am

    • 10km: 7.45am

    • 5km: 9am

  • What are the cut-off timings?

    • 15km: 3h

    • 10km: 2h

  • Will I get race timing?

    • Only 10km & 15km participants will have their race timings. The last split for race timing would be the duration you take to complete the ‘Vertical Marathon’.

  • How are the winners defined?

    • All results and rankings will be based on gun time. Runners competing for the top prizes must start in the first wave. The results will only be inclusive of the running time, i.e the timing from the start point to the last time mat before the finishing point.

  • What happens if it rains?

    • The Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the run in the event of inclement weather.

    • Should the inclement weather persist after the delay, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without refund of registration fees.

  • Will I be refunded if the race is called off due to bad weather, etc?

    • No.

  • Where can I park my car?

    • Please note that parking at UTown is available at Stephen Riady Centre's basement car park (postal code: 138607). More information on parking can be found here.

  • Along AYE towards Tuas, exit at Exit 9

  • Turn left on Clementi Road

  • Turn left onto Kent Ridge Crescent (note: University Cultural Centre is on the left)

Via Dover Road from Clementi Road

  • Head onto Dover Road

  • Turn right into University Town

Via Dover Road from North Buona Vista Road

  • Head onto Dover Road

  • Turn left into University Town 

  • How can i purchase shuttle bus tickets?

    • You can state your interest for the shuttle bus tickets in the registration platform.

    • A fee of $6 would be charged, and you would be expected to make payment in cash during the race pack collection day.

    • A physical receipt would be given to you after the payment is made.

5. Volunteers

  • How do I register as a volunteer?

  • What am I entitled to if I volunteer?

    • Official event volunteer T-shirt, CIP hours (if applicable), refreshment and a priceless experience!

    • *The above entitlements are not applicable to all volunteers
